Open mIRC or your chosen IRC Client and open up the settings.

On the connect screen, fill in Your Full name, and then in the email address this must be your BNC Ident, that was provided in your welcome email example: # This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Then fill in your nickname and alternate nickname.

Now move down to the servers tab on the left and click Add.

Once you have clicked Add, you will be shown a screen like below.

Fill in the IRC Server IP Address and Port, these were provided in your welcome email.

In the Password field, put in the password for the BNC that was also provided in your welcome email.

Once you've filled out all the details in the above screen, click add to confirm the server addition to your IRC client.

next move down to the Ident tab on the left.

Tick enable ident server, and fill in the Ident field, this will be the same ident that was provided in your welcome email.

Next tick all 3 box's below and then click OK.

You are now ready to connect to your BNC, provided all details that you have entered are correct.
